Marketing Manager for Social Impact Design Agency (F/T, Remote – USA)

We are seeking a new Marketing Manager to join our team, who will play a lead role in how Constructive’s marketing expresses our brand and elevates our thought leadership, and who also collaborates on client-facing marketing work.

Your Core Responsibilities

Constructive proactively markets ourselves across several channels to effectively position our brand, increase visibility, deliver thought leadership, and drive new business. Our Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with our team, leading the process of shaping marketing strategies and tactics, producing content and marketing assets, measuring performance, and recommending ways to optimize. The primary marketing responsibilities are to:

  • Lead development of Constructive’s marketing plan and ensure that everyone is held accountable to executing it
  • Create, manage, and execute the marketing calendar that schedules our cadence of newsletters, articles, and social posts
  • Write extensively and ensure that Constructive’s voice and tone are aligned with our brand strategy, resonate with audiences, and are channel-appropriate
  • Help staff develop ideas for and then deliver on content marketing (articles, webinars, etc) that reinforces Constructive’s strategic positioning and expertise
  • Create Constructive email newsletters with A/B testing, as appropriate
  • Collaborate with design team to produce marketing graphics, case studies, and other assets
  • Be the proactive voice for Constructive on social channels—responding to all who engage with our content, and proactively engaging strategically valuable accounts
  • Cultivate marketing partnerships with external industry conferences, events, and websites, driving content publishing opportunities, speaking engagements, and sponsorships
  • Keep track of relevant industry award competitions and lead Constructive’s participation in them
  • Manage and maintain company profiles on agency directory websites such as Clutch.co

Skills & Experience You’ll Need

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a design or communications agency
  • Strong understanding of branding, communications, and web design work 
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Great skill in creating persuasive, long-form content from an expert point of view
  • Gifted at creating written and visual social media content that attracts attention
  • Strong understanding of the Google Workspace
  • Understanding of email marketing, specifically MailChimp
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with and motivate teammates with busy schedules

Nice-to-Haves That Will Make a Big Difference

  • Strong interest in and understanding of the social impact sector
  • Knowledge of basic WordPress publishing
  • Experience using Asana
  • Experience with Hubspot
  • Understanding of writing for search engine optimization
  • Podcast production
  • Experience with design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, etc.)

What We Offer:

We expect this position to have a base salary between $70,000 – $80,000 based on experience and value-added skills. In addition, we provide the following company benefits.
