National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC) Launches Interactive Caregiving in the US 2025 Report
We’re proud to announce the launch of the Caregiving in the US 2025 report, a reimagined digital platform created in partnership with the National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC).
Since 1997, Caregiving in the US has served as the primary source of data on America’s family caregivers. The 2025 edition offers the most comprehensive look yet at the 63 million Americans—or nearly one in four adults—who provide care to a family member. Caregiving in the US is a resource for understanding the critical role family caregivers play in society and for developing policies and programs to support this growing community.
The redesigned report makes this essential research more accessible, actionable, and engaging for policymakers, practitioners, funders, and journalists. Together with NAC, we translated complex research findings into an interactive platform that empowers users to further explore the data and insights.
Key features include:
- Interactive Data Visualizations: Explore key findings over time and across various demographics, including age, gender, and income.
- Caregiving Prevalence Across the Country: Explore the data in an interactive map to view the prevalence of caregivers in each state, along with state-specific data profiles.
- Family Caregiver Stories: Connect the data to lived experiences through caregiver stories in both video and text-based storytelling.
We’re honored to support NAC in elevating the vital role of family caregivers by making their research report data more accessible and understandable. Explore the full 2025 report and learn more about our work at the intersection of healthcare, data, and design.
