Environmental Defense Fund Launches Net Zero Action Accelerator for Climate Week NYC

The team at Constructive is excited to announce that this Climate Week NYC, our partners at EDF+Business have launched their Net Zero Action Accelerator tool. 

EDF+Business, a group within the Environmental Defense Fund, sought to help businesses realize their incredible climate action potential. When EDF+Business partnered with Constructive, we couldn’t wait to get started on another meaningful climate project. 

The Net Zero Action Accelerator empowers business leaders and decision makers to chart unique paths toward net zero emissions for their organizations. With dozens of highly customizable pathways, user dashboards, and tailored resources and action steps, the tool helps businesses plot and pursue meaningful decarbonization actions. 

The Environmental Defense Fund’s (EDF) has an impressive five-decade history of advancing innovative climate solutions to our toughest environmental problems. And starting in 1990, the organization has identified opportunities to align sustainability goals with businesses’ bottom lines. The Net Zero Action Accelerator is their latest action on this front, and it’s one of the greatest tools of its kind in the corporate sustainability space.

The Constructive team is proud to have partnered with EDF+Business on the tool with our sights set on ensuring the tool’s accessibility, comprehensiveness, and action-orientation. 

And once we created the tool in close collaboration with the EDF+Business team, our work wasn’t over: We sought to improve the tool with comprehensive user testing and iterative design. 

Now, we’re proud not just of the tool’s development, but of the EDF+Business team’s work to share the tool with critical decision makers at Climate Week NYC.
