We’re Hiring! Digital Project Management Apprenticeship

Constructive, a leading social impact design firm based in New York and operating with a fully remote workforce, is accepting applications for our 2022 Digital Project Management Apprenticeship Program. We are looking for one hard-working, eager-to-learn person to join our diverse team of strategic, mission-focused, and creative thinkers. 

Constructive’s 6-month, paid Apprenticeship Program is ideal for early career project managers or career-changers who want hands-on experience managing design and digital projects at a social impact agency.

What you’ll get out of the opportunity: 

• You’ll learn how digital agencies manage projects and client relationships.
• You’ll learn how to use various tools and methodologies project managers rely on to plan projects, mitigate risks, and support teams in doing great work.
• You’ll learn about our branding, strategy, design, and development processes while you sharpen your communication, problem solving and organizational skills on real client projects.
• You’ll learn how nonprofit organizations think about strategically communicating with different audiences — from advocates to funders.
• You’ll work closely with mentors from the project management team, and engage with team members across strategy, design and development, to learn how we create digital experiences for nonprofits and foundations. We’re a boutique digital agency, so you’ll be working with and learning from our most senior people. 
• You’ll participate in project management team meetings, internal project and staff meetings, client presentations, workshops, and company-wide happy hours.
• You’ll uncover more of what you love doing while exploring your passions and talents, and expanding your skill sets.

• You’re excited by the opportunity of supporting mission driven organizations on their journey to improving their strategic communications, branding, design, and technology 

How it works: 

• This is a paid apprenticeship. The selected candidate(s) will be asked for a 6-month commitment of 30-40  hours per week at a rate of $15/hour. 
• Based on performance and our company’s needs, there is potential for a 6-month extension of the apprenticeship at an increased rate of $22.50/hour,  and/or  advancement to a full-time position once the apprenticeship concludes.
• You’ll work the standard work week with us, Monday-Friday as a full member of our remote team. 
• National holidays are observed.
• You’ll be eligible for a performance-based bonus at the end of the 6-month period.
