We’re Looking for a Developer Apprentice for 2015-2016!

Are you a talented web developer looking to apply yourself and get your hands dirty working on challenging projects? Would you like to work directly with senior staff and learn how to produce polished work for real clients? Do you have an interest in branding and design?

Constructive, a leading branding and design firm in NoHo is looking for one exceptional student to fill our Year-Long Web Developer Apprenticeship. We are looking for highly motivated and talented creative thinker who knows how to take guidance, ask questions, and jump in and solve problems. The ideal person has a solid base of knowledge of web development techniques, back-end and front-end frameworks and loves to explore and refine their craft.

Students must be comfortable in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Git. Experience or an interest with CMS systems like WordPress or Drupal, or data visualization implementation are a plus.

DETAILS

This is a paid apprenticeship, with compensation offered based on experience and bonuses based on performance. Our standard work week is 9:30AM to 6PM, Monday-Friday, with Summer Fridays cutting out at 1:30PM. This apprenticeship is available for immediate start and runs through May 2016 with an option to convert to a full-time apprenticeship for the summer. National holidays and academic breaks are observed. This position requires a minimum of 2-3 days with the potential for advancement to a full time position once the apprenticeship concludes.
