Constructive congratulates the Institute for Industrial Productivity (IIP) whose databases were given a 2013 CCBJ Business Achievement Award for becoming a “valuable source of information and expertise about industrial energy efficiency”. Constructive helped to design and develop the online databases, which house hundreds of resources on industrial energy efficiency and were recognized as the key to winning the award.
Tellingly, traffic to IIP’s website and databases had increased over 300% in the past year. There were 12,486 unique visits in October 2013, up from 3,459 in October 2012.
CCBJ, a business research publication for the climate change industry, has been running the annual awards program since 2009 to recognize companies, technology developers and entrepreneurs for taking risks to build a sustainable business in the climate change industry. Thirty other organizations were acknowledged for their efforts in this year’s CCBJ awards, including Siemens, Daimler, the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory’s China Energy Group, Thomson Reuters Point Carbon and Lockheed Martin.
