Environmental Performance Index Website Launched

Constructive is extremely proud to announce the launch of the new Environmental Performance Index, designed and developed by Constructive in conjunction with the Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy. The only index of its kind in size and scope, the EPI is produced biennially by researchers at Yale and Columbia universities, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum and with support from the Samuel Family Foundation and the McCall MacBain Foundation.

For the 2014 Environmental Performance Index, Constructive developed branding and identity, designed and developed a data-rich website with live data visuzlizations and powerful tools that allow users to compare and analyze complex data sets, and designed the 2014 EPI print report.

More about the Environmenal Performance Index: The 2014 EPI includes 178 countries, or 99 percent of global population, 98 percent of land, and 97 percent of global GDP, ranking how well countries perform on high-priority environmental issues in two broad policy areas: protection of human health from environmental harm and protection of ecosystems. Within these two policy objectives the EPI scores country performance in nine issue areas comprised of 20 indicators. Indicators in the EPI measure how close countries are to meeting internationally established targets or, in the absence of agreed targets, how they compare to the range of observed countries.
