Columbia University Website Wins Silver at Creativity International Awards

The 42nd Annual Creativity International Design Awards Winners were announced today, and we’re extremely proud to announce that Columbia University’s Giving Shapes Our World website has been recognized for design excellence again, receiving a Silver Medal in the Public Service & Nonprofit design category. This marks the 4th award for the university website since its launch in late 2011.

Featuring 24 incredible stories, Giving Shapes Our World brings the impact of Columbia University’s $5 billion giving campaign to life through interactive storytelling, photo journalism and user experience design.

Also honored at the 42nd Annual Creativity International Design Awards is Constructive’s work with The Electrification Coalition designing and developing ElectrificationCoalition.org with an Honorable mention in the Public Service & Nonprofit design category. This marks the 3rd indistry award for the energy policy nonprofit website.

Established in conjunction with Art Direction Magazine in 1970, The Creativity International Awards is one of the longest running independent international advertising and graphic design competitions, focusing on integrated design across interactive, print and environmental media. Each year the judges choose the best designs, advertisements, marketing materials, websites, and commercials from all over the world to be reproduced in the 400-page Creativity Awards Annual.
